Th. Dr. Jogendra Singh
Education has been an integral part of Late Th. Dr. Jogendra Singh’s life in which he got an opportunity to serve Rajasthan Education Department for over 35 years in various positions and retired as Additional Director, Education. Supertime RAS from RPSC Cadre, he is still known in the educational circle for his fearless attitude, honesty, integrity and larger than life personality. He has received many accolades from the government for his exceptional work including then Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat.
After hanging up his government boots in 1993, he came back to his mother roots in rural Agra and it did not take him much time to realize the poor state of educational affairs. There in 1996 he formed Samgra Shiksha Sansathan as a non profit organization working for the welfare and development of the society and soon SSPS was born.
Dr. Jogendra Singh was a post graduate from Agra University, had keen interest in music, gardening and proudly called himself as the creator of the school orchard.
